Through diversification has taken Husnain successfully into textiles and others sectors, construction remains its main business. Allied construction activities include building material manufacture (Vinyl Flooring, Medium Density Fiber, laminates & particle board and forest wood), and property and leisure business (Golf Course, Real Estate Development, Resorts City Development). Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC), Oil & Gas and Water pipeline construction is being explored through the overseas construction division of the parent company Husnain Cotex Ltd (Formerly HUSNAIN Construction Company (private) Limited (HCCL).

Company through its vast experience has realized that communication sector especially the roads have been seriously damaged by unchecked loads plying on them which ultimately has badly affected the economy of the country. In order to address this situation the company decided to make use of the rehabilitation methods which are cost effective, time saving, least inconvenient to public and above all environment friendly. After detailed study of various options it was decided to import state of the art machinery for following two (Hot in place recycling & Cold recycling ) methods to overcome these problems. These methods Hot in place recycling and Cold recycling will be in addition to conventional surface rehabilitation.

• 100% of the existing pavement material is used;
• Individual mix components can be modified to give optimum asphalt mix design
• Rapid in place recycling, results in minimum traffic disturbance. The road is opened to traffic as the work progress.

Cold Recycling

Cold recycling could be done upto a depth of 300mm CR produces thick, bound layers that are homogenous and do not contain weak interfaces between thinner pavement layers, as is sometimes found in conventionally constructed pavements.More

• Much less disturbances of poor quality subgrades occurs.
• Typically it’s a single pass operation which significantly shortens the construction time.
• Full recycling train can be accommodated within the width of one traffic lane giving a high level of traffic safety.
• Excellent quality of recycled layer achieved by accurate addition of fluids and high quality mixing of the in – sites material.
• Full use in made of the material in the existing pavement which minimize the import of new material from quarries and ultimately no scars in the country side. Haulage is for less and overall energy consumption is thus significantly reduced, as the damaging effect of haulage on the road network.
